The photography competitions are divided into 4 categories:
Category A: Kahang Organic rice eco farm natural sceneries inclusive of rice fields, fish ponds, farm land buildings and
amenities,
tropical rain forest and rivers within 5km radius of the farm.
Category B: Farm and Resort Activities including – all water sport and activities by visitors, farmers filed activities.
Category C: All fauna and living creatures in the farm and resort including, fishes, birds, livestock, insects , etc.
Category D: Video shooting of all the activities in Category A, B and C not exceeding 10 minutes.
All photos and videos shall be taken within the areas of 5 km radius of the farm.
The prizes of the 4 categories above are as below;
1st Prize: RM1,500.00 cash + certificate + 3D2N for 2 pax floating chalet (RM640.00)
2nd Prize: RM1,000.00 cash + certificate + 3D2N for 2 pax landed chalet (RM560.00)
3rd Prize: RM500.00 cash + certificate + 2D1N for 2 pax floating chalet (RM380.00)
10 Consolidation Prizes: RM100.00 each, 5 for veterans and 5 for beginners
Facebook Most “LIKE” Awards: 10 prizes are given each month for the top ten most “LIKE”s photo or video of the month
from
February to September, 2012 posted in koref eco farm resort Facebook subject to a minimum of 50 “LIKE”s.
Each prize is entitled to one night stay at Dormitory with breakfast worth RM50.00.
The prizes of each month will be announced on or before 3rd day of the following month in our web and facebook. Competition Period: 15-2-2012 to 31-10-2012

Participation Fee: RM60.00 per participant with complimentary farmstay at dormitory and breakfast
Rules and Regulations :
1) This competition is open to all local and foreign participants, including students/beginners without winning any photography
competition awards.
2) All entries shall be taken in Kahang organic rice eco farm and within 5 km radius of the farm.
3) All entries must be original works of the participants.
4) Each participant is entitled to submit as many entries as he/she likes with any number of prints for each
category (A, B, C and D).
5) Each Participant can only win one of the top three prizes, whereas each participant is limited to win up to two prizes in each category.
6) All entries submitted must be in colour of 8" x 12" size with mounted on black cardboard and accompanied by their CD/DVD in JPEG
file format.
7) The filled entry form (photocopies acceptable) is to be pasted behind the cardboard.
8) Only entries with minimal and acceptable adjustment on brightness, contrast and colour saturation are allowed. Any manipulation
on subjects, objects and scenes, superimposes, and other alternation deem unacceptable will be rejected.
9) All entries, including the CD/DVD submitted will become the property of the Organizer who reserves the right to use the submitted
entries in any way deem fit, without any payment.
10) The participants shall be personal responsible for their personal safety and the Organizer shall not be held liable in the event of
any loss, damage, personal injury or death suffered as a result of participants in this competition.
11) The Organizer shall not be held responsible for entries that are damaged or lost through post. All entries will not be returned.
12) The selection of the entries by the panel of judges will be subjected to the verifications by the Organizer in accordance with rules
and regulations and thereafter the decision will be final. No oral explanation or correspondence will be entertained.
13) In the case of any incomplete and inadequacy of the rules and regulations of this competition, the Organizer reserves the right to
add or delete any existing rules and regulations for smooth operation without prior notice.
14) All SUBMISSIONS SIGNIFY ACCEPTANCE AND ABIDE TO RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THIS COMPETITION.
